Weapons: She fights by using the unusually long sleeves of her dress, which have sharp wires hidden in the fabric, and are used to deliver swift, clean cuts.
Personality: Calm, sweet, thoughtful, and compassionate. At first glance, Chao Xing appears to be quite the opposite of what one would expect her to be: A brave hearted and daring Sun, just as her grandfather (Sun Jian), father (Sun Ce), uncle (Sun Quan), and aunt (Sun Shang Xiang) all were before her. However, hidden beneath her usually sweet-tempered exterior, there does indeed lie an unequaled pride in her family's name, not to mention a sometimes surprising rage. Although Chao Xing prefers never to allow this rage to show, her patience has its limit, and once angered, she turns into a 'wild tigress'.
History: The daughter of Sun Ce and Da Qiao, Chao Xing has led a mostly sheltered and genteel life, never straying beyond the boundaries of her home. Since she was still just a little girl, her mother's greatest desire for her was that she might grow to be a lovely young lady with high standards, a polite disposition, and, of course, many handsome suitors. What Da Qiao never expected, though, was for Sun Ce to have an influence on his daughter and only child, and for Chao Xing to want to follow in his footsteps by studying tactics and the martial arts. Years later, the young Lady Sun -- now at the age of sixteen -- struggles somewhat between following her family out to fight...and (reluctantly) following her mother out to meet amiable young men -- in other words, prospective husbands.
